Why are there AA and AB files?Updated 3 months ago
The Aeroo Pro records each video in both AA and AB quality.
AA—This is the full 4 K quality file, which should be used for most, if not all, purposes.
AB—The low-resolution version of each video is designed to be super compressed. It isn't currently clean in a practical sense but is made for sharing a small file over email or text message.
Our engineers are working on an update to improve our compression algorithm, which will enhance AB video quality. For now, we suggest using the full-quality AA files only and ensuring your SD card is up to speed to handle them (v30 or higher).
